Burning Man

Burning Man is a week-long annual event that takes place in Nevada's Black Rock Desert. Described as "an annual experiment in temporary community dedicated to radical self-expression and radical self-reliance," it attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year.

These amazing photographs by photographer Peikwen Cheng definitely paint a picture - albeit a surreal and dusty one - of something truly special and unique. Read more about Cheng's experience shooting the event here.

Color Ran

The happiest 5k on the planet came to Brooklyn on Sunday - and it did not disappoint! Me and my friend Liza braved the early morning color madness and had not only a great time but a nice workout! I will definitely be signing up again next year!

I've always been passionate about fashion design and illustration, stemming from a summer I spent taking classes at FIT with my friend Laura - who actually works in the Fashion industry today! Over the years my interests shifted more into graphic design (as seen by my current career) but every now and then I go back to it.
