I have a TON of stuff still to do before we head to my parent's house for Christmas. So I will be running around town and all over the apartment to finish things up.

Fall Favorites: J.Crew

J.Crew has some really great looks for Fall! And with the shopping mood I've been in lately it would probably be best for me to steer clear of their site (and all NYC locations). But, if it just so happens that I can't, I think I'll get some of the pieces shown above. Especially the first one - LOVE the rusty colored pants!

Happy Friday! I have A LOT on my mind today and A LOT of things to do. So here goes...

The weather today has got me searching for a new dress to kick off my spring/summer wardrobe. Here's what I'm considering:

I'm leaning towards the anthropologie dress considering i still haven't used my gift card :) But I might hold out just a touch longer... Who knows.

This song fits me perfectly today as the gears in my head turn and turn. Needless to say, I'm really excited for some fun distractions this weekend.

Tomorrow, Mike and I are going to see our friends Dave and Elyse and have some dinner. They always come to see us in Brooklyn so I'm excited to go to their place. Then on Sunday Mike's parents are visiting and I'm planning to wow them with a summer salad. I hope to share some pictures next week.

Sunshine & Shopping

Oh well hello, beautiful Friday.

The sun is shining and it's only slightly brisk in Brooklyn today which has me in a pleasant and productive mood. I'm also semi-off from work today which makes things even better. Perhaps this afternoon I'll do a bit of shopping. I've had an anthropologie gift card burning a hole in my wallet since Christmas (courtesy of my parental Santas).

With Spring on the way I might pick up one of these...
