This dreamy work by French artist Olivier Grossetête was designed for "contemplation rather than function" as it starts and ends in the water. While I wish it was walk-able it's still pretty awesome as is.

1 // The Homework Table by Slovakian designer Tomas Kral utilizes a 'moat' along the edges to accomodate mess and keep it off your workspace. I wish every surface of my home had one of these.

2 // I've been slightly obsessed with pendant lights lately - having just bought two very cool ones for our apartment. These ones by Yoshiyuki Hibino caught my eye with their balanced and interesting design.
